WHS Students win Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Winnebago High School students Bianca N. and Mika M. earned awards from Scholastic Art & Writing. A great accomplishment since over 7,000 works were submitted for our region.

Class of 2024 Freshman Orientation March 2

Freshmen Orientation for the incoming Class of 2024 will be held at Winnebago High School at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2.  The WHS Academic Advisors will present registration information and materials for the 2020-2021 school year to 8th grades students on February 25 in science classes.

No School March 23 - 27

No School for Winnebago Staff and Students March 23 - 27 due to Spring Break. All school offices will be closed. Classes will resume Monday, March 30.

Winnebago Parents, if you haven't already completed it, please take a few minutes to do the 5 Essentials Parent Survey. We need 20% completion in order to get a report from the State.

District 323 Student Handbook 2019-2020

The Parent/Student Handbook for all District #323 students has been revised for 2019-2020. The handbook contains information about school days schedules, dress code, bus behavior, field trips, and other school policies.

Winnovation finishes season in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Winnovation’s weekend in La Crosse, Wisconsin was filled with hard work and excitement. The team made the three hour journey north, taking a total of 26 students.

WHS "Operation Fill the Plate" a Success

Winnebago High School students packed two cargo van loads with food donations that went to the Freeport COOP Pantry and the Pecatonica Community Food Pantry Monday & Tuesday. (Best estimate is at least 2000 lbs. were collected or equal to 60 copy paper boxes). WHS Freshmen & Seniors worked together Tuesday morning to prepare the van for Pec Community Pantry.
