Jean McNair Announces Student of the Week

Winnovation heads west to compete March 22-23

The Winnovation Team 1625 have been working hard on building not one but two robots. The team always builds a second bot just like our competing bot that they can practice with, while the other robot is in a bag waiting for competition. On March 22 and 23 there will be 47 teams competing from Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, California, Missouri, Minnesota, and Nebraska.

WMS Health Sciences and Human Services presentation

Winnebago School District #323 and Winnebago Middle School would like to Thank the WinBurSew Fire Department, the Army, Crusader Community Health, KP Counseling, United Way and Athletico Physical Therapy for presenting Health Sciences and Human Services to all students at Winnebago Middle School. 

WMS Students Celebrate Kindness Week

Winnebago Middle School students participated in Kindness Week collecting donations for various organizations. WMS 6th grade students collected some awesome donations for United Way from Kindness Week.

WHS Junior Class Scoopie Night April 1

Winnebago High School Junior class will be hosting a Scoopie Night at Culver's of Winnebago on April 1 from 5 - 7 p.m. 10% of the sales will be given to the Junior Class for to help with 2019 Prom. 

 

2019 Tractor Day March 22

Winnebago High School Annual Tractor Day will be held on Friday, March 22. Tractors will start at DeLong's at 6:20 a.m. and will parade down Elida St. to the WHS parking lot. Weather permitting photos until 7 p.m. Breakfast will not be served this year.

Spring Break March 25 - 29 - No School

Winnebago CUSD #323 Spring Break will be held March 25 - March 29. Schools and school offices will be closed. Classes will resume Monday, April 1.  

Kids Club 2019-2020 Registration March 21

Winnebago Kids Club Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will be held Thursday, March 21 at Dorothy Simon Cafeteria from 4-5:30 p.m.  

Vision and Hearing Screen for Elementary Students

Your Dorothy Simon or Jean McNair child may be given vision and hearing screenings this school year 2018-19. Vision screening is not a substitute for a complete eye and vision evaluation by an eye doctor. You will be notified if your child does not pass the screening. If your child passed, this screening should not replace an eye appointment with an eye doctor. 

2019-2020 Kindergarten pre-enrollment begins February 1

Winnebago CUSD #323 will open 2019-2020 Kindergarten pre-enrollment on Friday, February 1. Kindergarten enrollment is for children who will turn five years old on or before September 1, 2019.
