New App Raises Concerns About Cyberbullying and School Safety

Recently WHS administrators have been informed of a new app that students are using that may contain cyber bullying and other inappropriate messages.  The app called "After School" is an anonymous social media forum specifically tied a particular school.   The apps website http://afterschoolapp.com/app explains the app and how it works.  The following youtube video gives detailed information for parents on how to monitor use of the app https://youtu.be/-pGUvCBiA20   This app raises concerns due to the anonymous nature of the posting and the inability to investigate any bullying or threats made on the app.  If you have questions about the app or our efforts to address its' use at WHS please call the high school office at 335-2336,
