WHS announces PRIDE students for Dec/Jan

Congratulations to the Winnebago High School December/January P.R.I.D.E. Students of the Month! Our four grand prize winners-- Rachel C., Tino L., Andrew M. and Nakya D. were drawn from a group of 20 nominated students that were chosen by WHS staff. Mother Son Bowling RESCHEDULED

Mother Son Bowling will now be Friday, MARCH 9 at Lakeside Lanes.  

WHS Junior Class Presents Mr. WHS Pageant February 25

The Winnebago High School Junior Class Presents Mr. WHS Pageant on Sunday, February 25 at Winnebago High School Cafetorium from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and students children under 5 free.

WMS Mother Son Bowling March 9

Winnebago Middle School Mother Son Bowling has been  RESCHEDULED for Friday, March 9.  Tickets are on sale now the office WMS office. The cost for bowling is $20 per couple. Lane signups will start at 7 p.m. Bowling begins at 7:30 p.m.

Class of 2022 Freshman Orientation February 26

Freshmen Orientation for the incoming Class of 2022 will be held at Winnebago High School at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 26. The WHS Academic Advisors will present registration information and materials for the 2018-2019 school year to 8th grades students on February 21 and 22 in science classes.

Jean McNair Elementary School Announces Second Quarter Honor Roll

Second quarter has ended at Jean McNair Elementary School so we'd like to congratulate the 30 fourth graders and 24 fifth graders earning straight A honors, along with the 33 fourth graders and 41 fifth graders who have earned A/B honors this quarter.

2018-2019 Kindergarten Pre-enrollment

It's that time or year again! 2018-2019 Kindergarten Pre-enrollment opens on February 1st.  Pre-enrollment and registration will be open to children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2018.

Winnebago PE Students rank as some of the best in the State of Illinois

Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, the ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) has required all school districts in the State of Illinois to begin fitness testing in four areas for 3 -12th graders. The four areas are aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility.
