Friday 10/12: In this book, a 1971 baseball team from rural Macon, Illinois became the smallest school in state history to make it to the state final, making them sport “stars” in their hometown.   

College Help:

Do you need help with college applications or writing your personal statement?  Do you have questions about the entire process? Come to the Computer Lab Room #218 during intervention time any Tuesday during October.  Mrs. Kline and Mrs. Brenner will be available to answer any questions!

Quarterly Reward Trip:

Permission slips for the PBIS Quarterly Reward Trip have been handed out.  

REMEMBER ....Permission Slips, along with your Movie Choice, and $15.00 must be turned into the office NO LATER than Tuesday, October 16th. NO LATES WILL BE ACCEPTED!  The only exception would be if you had an excused absence that day.

PBIS Prize Boxes:

   NIU Engineering:

Your students are invited to learn more about the NIU Engineering @ RVC program featuring NIU’s B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, which students can earn on the campus of Rock Valley College. The information sessions are on Wednesday, October 17 and Wednesday, November 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at RVC.

NIU Engineering @ RVC program students have the opportunity for internships, mentoring and job interviews thanks to area companies pledging their support. This ABET-accredited NIU program, recognized for meeting the standard in quality engineering education, provides students with an education at an affordable cost. Students can earn NIU’s B.S. in Mechanical Engineering AND an Associate in Science or Associate in Engineering Science degree at RVC for around $40,000. That’s a great value!
