WMS eighth grade Career Day and Shadowing Information

Winnebago Middle School 8th Grade Career Day will take place on Thursday, April 20, a number of guest speakers representing many different careers will come in and talk with our students about many different career options. This exposure to various careers should help students explore more job opportunities and provide extra research for future endeavors.

WMS eighth grade heads to Great American May 30

Winnebago Middle School 8th grade class is taking a road trip. They will be heading off to the fun that awaits them at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. This fantastic trip will be on Tuesday, May 30. The students will leave WMS by charter coach at 8:15 a.m.. We will return by approximately 8 p.m. Please be prompt in picking up your child.

WMS Eighth Grade Promotion

Winnebago Middle School 8th grade promotion will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. All awards will be presented at this ceremony. Students should arrive at 6:30 p.m. to line up.

WMS Rt. 72 Music Festival

Winnebago Middle School Chorus and Band students will be participating in the annual Rt. 72 Music Festival on Wednesday, April 12 at Byron Middle School. Specific details with transportation times will be coming home with your students. Admission for the event costs $2 for adults and $1 for students.

No School April 14 and April 17 in observance of the Easter Holiday

No student and staff attendance Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17 in observance of the Easter Holiday. Classes will resume Tuesday, April 18. School office will be closed. 

Spring Break March 27 - 31 - No School

No student and staff attendance Monday, March 27 -31 for Spring Break. Classes will resume April 3. School office will  be closed.
