Congratulations to the following fourth and fifth grade students for making Honor Roll during the second quarter grading period. Sixty-six students made the straight A honor roll, while sixty-nine students made the A/B honor roll.
Class of 2023 Freshman Orientation will be held at Winnebago High School on Monday, March 4 at 6 p.m. The Winnebago High School Academic Advisors will present registration information and material for the 2019-20 school year to eighth grade students on February 25 in Science Class. Please look for several forms to come home.
Winnebago Middle School Mother Son Bowling will be held on Friday, March 8 at Lakeside Lanes in Durand. Tickets available in the WMS office.
Winnebago Middle School FAST will be holding Rec Night on Friday, February 22 from 7- 10 p.m. for WMS students at the school.

Your Dorothy Simon or Jean McNair child may be given vision and hearing screenings this school year 2018-19. Vision screening is not a substitute for a complete eye and vision evaluation by an eye doctor. You will be notified if your child does not pass the screening. If your child passed, this screening should not replace an eye appointment with an eye doctor.

Winnebago CUSD #323 will open 2019-2020 Kindergarten pre-enrollment on Friday, February 1. Kindergarten enrollment is for children who will turn five years old on or before September 1, 2019.
The 24th Annual FEE March Madness Dinner will be held on Saturday March, 2 at the Tebala Event Center in Rockford, starting at 5 p.m. We welcome back The Gilligan's, a local cover band, as the entertainment for the evening as well as a live auction, and cash giveaways, including $2000 to a single winner.
Congratulations to Donna Fisher, the head cook at McNair Elementary on her retirement! Donna has been with the Winnebago School District for 28 years as a head cook! She has impacted thousands of students in so many ways!
Winnebago High School students packed two cargo van loads with food donations that went to the Freeport COOP Pantry and the Pecatonica Community Food Pantry Monday & Tuesday. (Best estimate is at least 2000 lbs. were collected or equal to 60 copy paper boxes). WHS Freshmen & Seniors worked together Tuesday morning to prepare the van for Pec Community Pantry.
Allison Hawkins from Keller-Williams realty presented a check to the Bago Pride Tribe and the Winnebago Football program.
She donated $20 for each touchdown scored by the WHS football team during home games this season. WHS thanks Allison and Keller-Williams Realty for their generous donation.
