Tickets issued for illegal parking on school grounds

Illegal parking at the main campus of the Winnebago Schools during special events has become a safety problem with many visitors parking in fire lanes, double parking, and blocking in other cars. The school district has an intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Winnebago that allows police to ticket vehicles for illegal parking.

Jean McNair Accelerated Reading

The Accelerated Reader program combines the best children's literature with intuitive software that tests reading comprehension. The software also manages all student records and tracks reading performance. It is based a foundation of self-paced, individualized reading. Each student selects his or her own reading material.

Elementary students attending sporting events must be accompanied by an adult

Now that the school year is underway, many of you will be attending games to show your support.  While we hope you will attend the events to support our schools, it also is imperative that any student fifth grade and younger is accompanied by an adult.

Parents and guardians welcomed on field trips

Parents and guardians on our field trips are welcomed and appreciated! Not only is it a great educational time to spend with your child, but also a super bonding experience between parent and child.
