Spring Break March 27 - 31 - No School

No student and staff attendance Monday, March 27 -31 for Spring Break. Classes will resume April 3. School office will  be closed.

Winnebago Community School District Bond Information

On Nov. 8, 2016 a $25.6 million bond issue that would have generated enough money to build a $17 million elementary school and cover other improvements was not approved by the community.

Jean McNair Spring Picture Day April 6

Jean McNair Spring Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 6. More information will be sent home soon.   

Jean McNair St. Jude Math-a-Thon

This year, Jean McNair fourth graders are showing that they can make a difference by participating in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon.  All money raised will benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  St. Jude treats children who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

In 2013, the state of Illinois joined several other states in passing Erin’s Law.  Erin’s Law requires schools to provide age-appropriate sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention education to students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth grade.
