Winnebago School District Launches Safe School Helpline

The Winnebago School District has launched a new service called Safe Schools. Safe Schools is an anonymous reporting service that all students can use to report any inappropriate activity at school. This service also allows students to be connected to mental health services and emergency services in times of a crisis and after school hours.

Students can call in to Safe Schools or they can send a text. The phone number to call is 1.800.418.6423 ext. 359. or text TIPS to 66746. Your message will not be traced and you will not be identified. Students can also add the app to their smart phones. Below are links to the appropriate apps and students were provided flyers and magnets in their fifth period class.
