Winnebago District 323

Mission StatementWinnebago CUSD #323 is located in the Village of Winnebago and services students from five rural communities. Students and families from Burritt, Rockford, and Winnebago Township as well as from the Villages of Winnebago and Seward are part of our education family.

Winnebago CUSD #323 is a PreK-12 grade district that provides comprehensive, strong core academic programs. The district is comprised of one high school, one middle school, and two elementary schools.

Our mascot, the Winnebago Indian, is a copyrighted mascot that was researched and drawn by local artist Tom Heflin.

Registering to Vote
In cooperation with Winnebago County Clerk, residents of District #323 will now be able to register to vote at the District Office or in the office of any of the District’s schools. If you are new to the District or if you have moved since you last registered to vote, you can register at the school nearest you.

No School November 21 -23

No School November 21 - 23 for Winnebago staff and students in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All schools and offices will be closed. Classes will resume Monday, November 26. 

2017 District PARCC Scores

We are excited to share that our PARCC District-wide scores increased by 6 points for students meeting and exceeding standards in both English language arts and in mathematics; our average SAT scores also improved by 24 points, compared to our 2017 scores.
