Winnebago School District - School Social Workers

The Winnebago School District has two openings for School Social Workers for the 2020-21 school year.  These positions will help students resolve such personal, emotional, and social problems as they interfere with their adjustments to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them.  The focus of a School Social Worker will be to provide support to all elementary school students including those with an IEP/504 Plan, Behavior Intervention Plan, RtI Plan, and other students deemed necessary.  Desired candidates will have an Illinois Type 73 Certificate or approval and ability to become certified in the State of Illinois, hold a Masters Degree from a NCATE Program/field of school social work with required internship.  To apply, please submit a letter of interest, application, resume, references, and unofficial transcripts to Christine Kaufman, Director of Student Services, 304 E McNair Road, Winnebago IL  61088.  Application materials can be emailed to applications@winnebagoschools.org  Phone 815.335.2456.  Fax 815.335.7574.
