Winnebago School District - Educational Diagnostician

The Winnebago School District has an opening for an Educational Diagnostician for the 2020-21 school year.  This position will be part of a team to perform academic evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and communicate findings to the special education team.  Job responsibilities include:  performing academic evaluations for students Preschool - 21, understanding and selecting testing and academic assessment tools, evaluating test results and communicating findings to appropriate team members, completing functional behavior assessments, reviewing and documenting student progress from teachers, parents, and administrators, as well as evaluations obtained through interviews and observations, scheduling meetings and assisting with paperwork related to initial and re-evaluations, and assisting teachers in developing the student education plan based on evaluation results.  In addition, the position will work directly with a small caseload of students providing specialized instruction and report to the Director of Student Services.  Applicants must be appropriately certified with a current Illinois Professional Educator License.  A LBS1 Endorsement is required with  Prekindergarten - 21 preferred.  To apply, please submit a letter of interest, application, resume, references, and unofficial transcripts to Winnebago School District Office, Attention:  Human Resources, 304 East McNair Road, Winnebago IL  61088.  Application materials can be emailed to  applications@winnebagoschools.org  Phone 815.335.2456.  Fax 815.335.7574.

Dorothy Simon Elementary School - Principal

Dorothy Simon Elementary School has an opening for a Principal for the 2020-21 school year.  Simon Elementary School is a public PreK - grade 2 school with a student population of approximately 330.  The salary will be commensurate with experience. Winnebago Middle School - Head Cook

Winnebago School District - School Psychologist

The Winnebago School District has an opening for a School Psychologist for the 2020-21 school year. This position will be utilized to assist in the process of developing an educational climate conducive to the optimum development of all children with emphasis placed on prevention, rehabilitation, indirect and direct services. The focus of the School Psychologist will be to provide support to all students including those with an IEP, 504, in RtI, or other students deemed necessary. Applicants must be appropriately certified with a current Illinois Professional Educator License or have the ability to become certified in the State of Illinois, hold a Masters Degree from a NCATE Program/field of school psychology with required internship. The position will report directly to the Director of Student Services with the start date negotiable.
